On and off Javascript

In Netscape for Macintosh

The following instructions show how to check if your Netscape browser has been set up with Javascript enabled. These screenshots are from on Netscape Communicator 4.7 which may differ from other versions.
Similar instructions are available for Netscape (PC version), IE (PC version) and IE (Mac version).

  1. Go to the Edit item in the menubar and select preferences.

  2. Click on Advanced in the Category options on the left and then check that the Enable Javascript box is ticked.

  3. If any settings are changed, click on the OK button to save them.
  4. You may also need to click on the Reload button in the top toolbar to activate Javascript in the current page.
