4umi William Shakespeare : King Lear

King Lear

Through the wicked schemes of rivaling lords and his evil daughters, the king is robbed of his power, his dignity and ultimately his senses. Towards the end of the play he is seen entering the stage “fantastically dressed with wild flowers”:

‘King Lear’, act VI, scene 6, lines 106-107.

 King Lear.
