So what 's new? An overview of major changes made to the website over time shows mainly what is old. The changelog list can be read both ways.
- February 2011: Created a new year calendar for dating historical events.
- January 2011: Spiced up the homepage with a fitting image and some extra xmlhttp.
- Late 2010: Added a text layer to the Plates in Blake's Songs of Innocence.
- Throughout 2010: Collected a few thousand images of bombed Rotterdam in 1940.
- February 2010: Created Stomachionline.
- 27 December 2009: Upgraded Hangman.
- December 2009: Added a new Word search game to the games section.
- November 2009: Added samples of a Dutch translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses.
- 4 October 2009: Added some more of Aesop's Fables.
- 22 September 2009: Added The Book of Urizen to Blake's media.
- 2 September 2009: Added The Antichrist to Nietzsche's words.
- 31 August 2009: Moved to a friendlier server.
- August 2009: Added images of all Plates to Blake's Marriage of Heaven and Hell.
- July 2009: Added Don Quixote to Cervantes' words (better late than never).
- March 2009: Hunted down historical cityscapes as Google Streetview comes to town.
- November 2008: Automated some aspects of the pages showing Shakespeare's plays.
- Summer 2008: Found a Latin version of Kipling's poem If—.
- September 2007: Settled on the regular expression in the cordondance functionality in the library—the hyphen stays.
- August 2007: Added Also sprach Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche, at first in translation.
- February 2007: Enhanced the highlighting functionality on pages, with a sidenote.
- Also 2006: Started collecting videoclips as Youtube hits the fan.
- Winter 2006: Found a new poem Al-Nay to add to the words of Khalil Gibran.
- Late 2005: Integrated the regular expression section into the other coding pages.
- November 2005: Upgraded the primitive third-party search engine to find.
- October 2005: Experiment with integration of Google Maps at various locations around the site.
- March 2005: Added Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha, translated.
- October 2004: Added Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.
- September 2004: Added Il Principe by Machiavelli, in English only so far.
- Summer 2004: Moved personnel from the U.K. to the Netherlands.
- March 2004: Added the Just So stories to Kipling's words.
- February 2004: Revamped the games corner and the image gallery.
- January 2004: Added images to Gulliver's Travels and elsewhere.
- Late 2003: Removed the php playground due to performance issues.
- Fall 2003: Added some text and images, exploring search and highlight options.

- December 2002: Reuploaded all files after a total meltdown at the server end.
