Word Search

A game proven to increase vocabulary and spelling skills, Word Search also challenges the three-dimensional recognition. To play, choose a subject and hit the 'New Game' button, then drag your mouse over the grid to select a word. Words are found horizontal, vertical and diagonal in each direction. Once found, words will remain circled. The words in the list are stripped of non-alpha characters and converted to upper case when they are added to the letter grid, so 'New Mexico' shows on the grid as N E W M E X I C O.

The applet version is fast and stable, but the javascript has a greater variety of words and a better interface. Some handmade layouts are being prepared.
