4umi Giovanni Boccaccio : The Decameron

Il Decamerone

The stories in The Decameron, "The Book of Ten Days", were probably written over many years, but assembled in their definitive form between 1349 and 1351. The first full English translation is attributed to John Florio (1553?-1625) and was published in London in 1620.
